I was inspired by Lachri Fine Art (Lisa Clough) to do a piece resembling her surreal wildlife works; unlike her pieces, this one is on sketch paper and was colored using Copic markers and eeBoo colored pencils (though I do not recommend them at all because layering is difficult with them, especially with the technique I was using with paint thinner).

I like to think of this owl as what we might see when we die; or rather maybe in another world he would guide those who enter to their destination. That's just what I see him as, though.
