Comissioned work for a Deviantart client. The name of the character is Tara, and obviously she won the combat
I used a reference provided by the client, he was very definite with the pose (he provided me a photo and a drawing). Usually I feel very confortable using drawings of another artists as references but the client is always right
She looks tough and sexy which is a perfect fit for the situation. From a purely art-perspective, I like the detail you put into her boots, they have a more natural look to them rather than if you just made them flat and smooth.
