Shoulder

Decided it was as done as it was going to get. Had plans for an elaborate tattoo on the back but wasn't able to get the model to pose again after she got the ink done.
The scanner took a big toll on the image as well.

Size: 8 X 10 Inches
Media: Pencil (4H-F), Powdered Graphite
Paper: Bristol Panel

i dont know...i personally think it's a better piece without the elaborate tattoo.....she looks softer you know....wistful. tattoo are everywhere these days....sometimes it nice to recon back to just a natural uncluttered look. anyways it's very good.

Yeah yeah yeah you dirty bitch! GET YOUR SHOULDER OUT!

Love it, really good. Kinda sad expression?

well I freaking love your art but this one is a joke. it has nothing of that great line and shadow work you have in your other pictures. The person looks very much 2d and flat. I'm kinda disappointed but hope you will get back to your good stuff

So I dig it. Love her hair, but something about the shading doesn't seem quite right. I'm guessing this is in a studio with the light aimed at her back, but......the area around her eye seems a bit darker than it should be and the shading on her right shoulder/back seems a bit off. I really do like how you blend the muse with a basically blank background. there could be more definition in her back, but then again I don't know the lighting situation. Overall a good work, and I do like pencil/graphite/ink on paper but this is while an overall good work something about it just doesn't totally click with me. I! always feel bad about commenting about anything I give less than 4* but this shows you have some real talent but somehow (at least for me) it doesn't totally jig. Overall it's just that last 1/5th of the right side that....I dunno - how does it get so dark so quick? Thank you for sharing this with all of us...I'm quickly learning there is much more to NG than the free games, and art like yours makes me at least think for a bit and I hope the criticism I gave is constructive. Peace, and keep up the good workl
