Great picture!

I haven't read the Neil Gaiman book, but I have heard the story of the three Billy Goats Gruff. Of course, this couldn't have been based on that because there's no billy goats in this. Instead there is a young boy. If the book is as good as this picture, then by all means I will read it! I don't know much about Gaiman's works, but have heard he is extremely popular. The shading is just so awesome in this, particularly with the red parts.

This is one ugly looking troll. Actually, I imagine trolls to have more monstrous features, but this guy is just ugly for being anything. The grass and the road are incredibly well detailed. I love how wonderfully the trees are shown in the background, particularly with how their lines are straightened for a realistic image. It's great to see so many shades with odd colors on the troll himself or itself.

Till Lindemann, the singer from Rammstein.
No disrespect to him of course! :D
