Author Comments

This was created with a reference image, so it's not 100% original unfortunately. I don't feel like I'm skilled enough for that yet!
This is an image I made to work on creating hair in my vectors. I tend to work only in vectors, layering opacities to try to create something hyper realistic. I incorporated some lines and outlines into this one, which is something I don't usually do. I'm not totally happy with the hair, but that's why it was practice!
I'd really like to have some comments with constructive criticism, and ways that I could improve the vector, and if you have any artists or images you think I should look into to help me, feel free to pm them to me!
But yes, constructive criticism is very much appreciated. I reduced the quality a bit to upload it here, and had to change the colour setting since it was originally in CMYK mode, so hopefully it doesn't degrade too much!

It looks OK but try not to overlap tho because the hair will look connected to each other in a weird way ( Like you did on the middle of her head ) and give it different shadings of the color for it to look better nad more realistic

Thanks dude! I will certainly try. I definitely see what you mean about the middle part of the head too, I think it could be due to the fact that I layered it and played with the opacity. Definitely need to get better at using colour.
