Shaolin Master

This is related to an animated music movie I'm working on.
I made this yesterday with Flash, the lineart took me 20-30 minutes to smooth it out.
But coloring and shading went for a full 3 hours of hard work and I think it's yet unfinished. I'm using a mouse and I didn't have any formal drawing lessons.
I drew this guy chaotically without any references, except for those stuck in my mind from ages of watching anime :)
So please if you have any idea on how to enhance my technique, don't forget to comment bellow but rate it first :)

Yeah muscles are colored finely I guess but sincerely I need to study anatomy for real :/
I made this without any reference so I'm expecting bunch of mistakes to be there :(
Also that face, it's so stupid and weird but I may keep that feeling for the animated character :)
