The People Have Spoken
Average Score: 7.5 / 10
That three looks awfully familiar...
Its amazing how you made it. I like the way you use light aswell =]
Even though its originally from someone else, you sir did an excellent job, I draw other peoples stuff sometimes, its good practice. One more thing, if you are really thirteen then that makes it even better, imagine what your stuff is going to look like a few years down the road.
Author's Response:
hey, thanks :)
It's a great artwork you've got there, but I find it funny that every post below until it gets to Bruce-Ree's post is rated about an average of 2, and their like, "GIVE crEdit to OrIGNal arTIst!"
Sure I don't blame them, but if it hadn't been for Bruce Ree, I bet you all those people would of said, oh yeah, this is awesome, totally original, just like the people below Bruce Ree. Funny hey?
Newgrounds... I'm sorry to say, but your still 13 years old. Grow up please.
Anyway. Great work by the way, yes, credit should be given when due, and has been now, but it's still a great copy. Hope to see more of your stuff. :)
Author's Response:
haha but what you know? i still a master of grafitti art XP :)
1st: this isnt a bashing of your work; excellent job
2nd: this really IS the spitting image of 'Bye Bye Mr. Moon 7' by Tiny Pilot which was submitted in December 2005 to that site. While stylistically different, the details remain the same, right down to the 3 windows on the church and the double layered church tower, the gnarly tree, and the gallows. Now, i dont think you realize this, and that you intentionally are trying to steal someone elses work; what i think happened is that you saw the work some years ago, made a passing comment that it was good, and then flipped to another site. The image stayed with you and in 2009 you couldnt remember it it was something you saw or something you thought up; tbh i wouldnt even begin to know how to check something like that if you didnt have the title of the work
so I dont blame you, but i am a supporter of you crediting the work. Its up to you. Like i said, you did a fantastic job recreating the image
This is a copy of an original artwork. The artist here does not mentoin that he used
Bye Bye Mr. Moon and copied it (but badly). The fact that this person is still denying it after so many people have claimed this, suggests he is an art thief.
I strongly dislike people who try to hide when they copy another artist's drawing. It's very frowned upon, especially when you try to hide the fact that you did it. You should only copy from real people/objects and not artwork, otherwise it's not really your work, it's just your copying of another person's work and you deserve little credit for it.
Try again, and please don't copy other people's work and not mention it. It just makes you look like a jerk.
Author's Response:
fine i'll just wrote the original creator like u said (i've check www.tinypilot.com)
happy? :l
Yeah... its neat you had a different perspective but since your taking credit for someones IDEA and not mentioning it i gotta rate this low. I gotta picture of the mona lisa i made in illustrator, but i call it slightly amused lady.
Author's Response:
hmm who are you again ?
makes me think of tristram in diablo 1 tho.
This is a reproduction of Bye Bye Mr Moon 7 from www_tinypilot_com. It's fairly well done, but one image that doesn't credit the original artist calls everything else into question.
Looks like something off of Resident Evil 4
Bluce-Ree is right.
found the picture and its without a doubt the same image.
i seems like you simply used GIMP to smear the picture and add those sybols in the windows after cutting some size of the original. That would explain the small size.
But i may be wrong and you may have simply used this as inspiration.
So 5/10 3/5
I like it. In fact, I liked it the first time I saw it as "Bye Bye Mr. Moon" via the www tinypilot com website. Were you planning on giving proper credit? If not, that's pretty weak, man.
Great art :P what I say beautiful art :)
Author's Response:
lol it's you ! where is mejson :P
Very nice job. The atmosphere was very well done. Haunting and intriguing. Though I do agree with that it is a shame that it can't be any bigger. It takes away from the detail and some of the emotion of it. Altogether though, I liked it. Keep it up!
Author's Response:
thx, i'll try make it bigger next time ! T_T
You managed to make an atmosphere of fear with the church and the lightning. Good work ^^
Its just kinda sad that I cant see it bigger! And by graffiti you mean you have actualy sprayed this on a wall? Or is that some kind of programm Im unaware of?
Author's Response:
yep a program ! (sadly my computer can't turned it bigger)
in before "taht looks like RE4"
the lighting in this is perfect, and its just a great picture to begin with.
Author's Response:
thanks !
i really enjoy looking at this...! (altrough it's spooky)
