7 hours painting in Sai, 2 hours messing around with fractals in Apophysis and the blending options in photoshop.
What started out as just doodling to wind down from work, turned into one of the coolest sketches I've done in a really long time. I just had to keep working on it. And now I'm pretty happy with the way it turned out, especially for just a couple of hours.
I don't have any plans to do any more work on this any time soon. There are other pieces that are better, that I should be focusing on. That being said, it was nice to paint something other than the piece I've been working on for the last year. And once again, this is just a sketch, I realize there's a ton of things that could be better about it.
