I flew too high, and burnt my wings.
Now I've lost my faith, in everything.
If you could see what reality looks like,
from all the way up here.
Everything you knew to be you,
would burn away too.

Burnt Wings (2002 - 2009) Pencil sketch colored with Painter
Original pencil sketch (2002) 17 x 13 Inches (43 x 33cm)
Re-mastered in Painter (2009) 10MP (2880 x 3538)

Once again, this is a very old piece and I'm a lot better now. But still, I like it, and I hope you do too!

I would have updated this

Before submitting this. You have a man's face on a woman's body; it doesn't even look unisexual to me. You gave the body very high toned muscles, but the arms have a little, and the legs have no real tone at all... in other words, a very uneven body, like unrealistically uneven development. The shading needs a lot of work... I understand the use of light being used only to accentuate areas of the body, but it helps when it doesn't run into a shade. Also, the neck needs work, it is too thick and is supposed to be bend a bit more a differently for the way the head is.

Nondual responds:

Like I said in the author's comments, very old piece.
