Now this is actually impressive. the detail on the woman, her curvature as well as the matching shadow behind her is quite nice. I particularly enjoy the sunset through the window blinds and how it plays off of her, lighting up the room. The attention to the angle of the back room and how the sunset light wouldn't fall directly into the back wall but is good enough to add a little glow to the coat and hat is nice.

The light changing as the sunset is hitting her upper body and then changing to a slowly dimming reflecting glow on her lower body is great. No wonder this was a winner!

The fact that the strap from her shorts is only showing on the right leg as it's facing straight and the left is facing away from us is a good piece of detail too. I dig the old style phone on the dresser and if the top note on the walls date is to be believed, the year is March 15th, 1960. Or maybe 2060. It's hard to tell with the only possible identifying marker being either running or casual black shoes.

I have to disagree with you about the background ManuelTacoface. I think the fairly simplistic background is quite well done. It feels like the corner entrance to a room, that you might see. It's not supposed to be overly detailed. Sometimes, less can be more.

Ooh, is that the blinds reflecting off her glasses?! I actually missed that at first.

Anyway, I think that's a fairly thorough once over. I enjoy the work and await your next picture.

Thank you so much for such detailed review, I very appreciate it! The truth is I really am a novice when it comes to backgrounds, (so I'm opened for criticism here) but I just didn't want the girl to float in the blank space. I'm very glad you enjoyed the result...~

Really digging the attention to detail on the woman, but the seemingly unimpressive background unfortunately gives it an overall flat feeling. With a few minor tweaks however, this would look pretty good. Keep up the good work and be sure to check out my art as well!

I guess... Thanks for your feedback.
