nice it look like ff12 good job
I've been looking through the galleries all day almost and I think this is my favorite picture so far. And just so you know I think the colors are great.
I still like it though. It's very whimsical. The girl's thighs and the boy's right arm are a little off, but other than that it works.
I suppose going crazy means blending the colors in the most beautiful orchestration of color. You've coalesced so many colors perfectly into a surreal tapestry. The way you have contrasting colors red and green almost flowing seamlessly together is quite the feat alone. Not to mention the pic is rich with detail. Kudos.
Author's Response:
Thankyou very much, I have always considered colour to be my weakest area and always tend to work on the value first. Reading up on my colour theory always scares me so to hear a compliment like yours has made my day. Cheers.
I admire your drawing skills, not only for the quality but also for how vivid the characters actually look. It's not just an ordinary, static and dull picture. Also the colors were well chosen Keep it up!
I agree with some users, the guy resembles Tidus from Final Fantasy X mixed with Vaan from FF XIII.
Not bad, you used a nice variety of colours.
The picture reminds of something of one of the FF games I played quite recently.
Keep up the great work!
Get! the Fuck off!! deviants!!
That reminds me of Final Fantasy, you know, like, the chocobos. And the guy riding it kind of looks like Vaan, from Final Fantasy XII. But, that aside, it's a great picture. LOVE the lighting.
But it's good,awesome color :)
Looks like a good sketch for a RPG game! Has a Final Fantasy feel, like fatassninja says, and I like the golden sunlight effect.
It has a final fantasy feeling, but most importantly it's amazing plus the colouring is great!
I dunno about crazy with color, I think it all works out pretty well. It's a pleasantly detailed fantasy piece, which suits me just fine.
I noticed one of the other reviews mentioned the girl's thighs, and I figured I'd put in my 2 cents to see if I could get a clarification from the artist. To me, judging by the size of the thighs and breasts on an otherwise small-looking woman, and adding in the fact that the stomach has that obscuring wrap encircling it, it seems that she's actually a good ways along in pregnancy. Am I way off here?
Author's Response:
Thankyou for your insightful comment, i must admit pregnancy was not what i intended but its an amazing amount of depth you've added to the image and im flattered by your speculation, definately an idea i could blag! Instead i will admit the size of the thigh was a mistake on my part, or rather the cast shadow i added - the thigh is pressed up against the surface of the saddle which pushes it out and may make it appear thicker, but when paired with that shadow its definately hard to read. Possibly a combination of bad values, lighting and proportion that i failed to see. Oh well drawing is always a learning curve!
Still im glad you enjoy my work, thanks again.
really beautiful
I just can't get enough of this artwork, great work as your other ones :D
Your use of color really blends well. It all comes together beautifully.
i love the all the detail in it an the background this is so beautiful keep making
more
the use of colour in this piece brings out the atmosphere of the scene immensly. really fantastic. the faces and drawn brilliantly as well. overall, a fantastically rendered piece, 10/10
not bad man, just the pic is too dark ! you think can make it lighter a bit?
Author's Response:
I did test this drawing out on three seperate monitors, however ive taken on board the comment you have made. This is an aspect of digital art that some love but one that i've always hated - Many monitors will always make the artwork appear lighter or darker, most often not how i intended it to look. I will work on fixing this problem.
I agree about the thighs being kinda hefty for the girl's body type, and the image feels a bit cropped - like we're missing something. But these are minor quips within a great image. Love the warm and varied colors.
thought the proportions of your maidens legs are a little weird looking...
i love the use of textures and colors. this is a true piece of art
Great job! I love the way you shade and use textures, it's very beautiful. Keep it up! 5/5 10/10. :)
