Final Kirby

Share

Aiight so for this contest, I decided to do Kirby since he's already canonically a godslayer, destroying entities of evil and forces of nature, or beings who have attained that kind of power. (I am NOT joking; Kirby games frequently do this for their final bosses)

The only thing he could possibly become at Level *99* is a literal god, and I made sure to give him as much over the top treatment as I could, within aesthetic "reason".

Some simple headcanon: Kirby has to find all of his previously used Final Weapons (anything used at the end of a Kirby game) in order to destroy the revived Zero Three: the ultimate Dark Matter who is hellbent on consuming the entire universe as an infinitely expanding black hole. How can Kirby not only defeat this entity, but restore all that was lost to it?

Here are some WIP posts I made. I made quite a few of em just in case. (You'll notice in one or two that he was originally weilding a weapon, but I ultimately decided against this since I liked how the wings by themselves looked on the background. In a Kirby game, these wings could probably be used *as* the weapon tbh.)

that's cool

Ideas for the next Smash Brothers, imagine this is Kirby's special attack. Awesome!

And so the slayer becomes the very thing he slays. Nothing can stop him now
