made for fun. (body reffed from twewy game).
still dunno if raising resolution or raise DPI will stop pixelated details and yet don't go over the 4M px2 is kinda hard. for example this image has more than 2M px2 and 300 DPI and still looks pixelated at some points i guess i'll have to raise it to 600DPI and something close to 4M px2 (??)
or maybe draw it at a huge res/DPI and then resizing for newgrounds not sure if that'll help.

As always feedback is appreciated..

Your response to the review below, "i know proportions are "a little" off i didn't want to change it cos it gives some style :P"
.... it's not adding style, since the length of the torso and legs, the look of the characters face, are EXACTLY the same as the pic you're "referencing".

You've been a bit more creative with the poses and the linework is still trim, so I'll give you a bit more credit for it.

i know, what i meant is while doing this i noted how proportions were exagerated and i was in a dilema if i should fix it or not, it was an easy fix but i didn't do it cos i wanted to keep the style the designers do and yet give it a twist to change her personality.

Great job! Also, pixelation advice...

First: I really like the girl, the colors, and the content. I think her feet are a bit wonky (too big) and her legs are freakishly long compared to her torso, but the look in the eyes, the positioning of the clothing, all those details really fall into place in this picture. Despite any technical flaws, I think you captured the humanity of the character. :-)

So, I *think* your "pixel" problem is that the image isn't anti-aliased. I'm not sure what program you are using, but if you can find a way to raise the anti-aliasing limit, I would do that. If you can't then try rendering the image at 2x or 3x the size and use GIMP or Photoshop to scale it back down to its current size.

Also, that background looks pixelated, too. Is that a separate image that is somehow pasted/inserted in the background? If so, make that image a higher resolution before rendering the full image with the girl. Again, I'm only guessing what you need, because I'm not positive how you made this. If you want more info, message me. If you think I'm full of shit, don't let me know: ignorance is bliss! ;-)

Either way, I like it and I look forward to more!

hey thanks for the review i know proportions are "a little" off i didn't want to change it cos it gives some style :P
i use paint tool sai it's a raster drawing software. i have look it up but i don't see anything related to anti aliasing, the program site says it supports it but it's usage is a mystery to me.
i'll try an ass huge resolution next time and resizing to something normal when exporting.
the background is just a low res image i like to use because i totally suck at backgrounds, i'll have to re do that image in high res or learn how to make propper backgrounds which to me are the ones seen on "Studio Ghibli" if u don't know what i'm talking about here's a video of 40 mins of backgrounds

(remove URL spaces if needed)

I have no idea how to make backgrounds that look like oil painting or acrylic digitally :S
a lot to learn still ;)
