Neat map-drawing/cartography skills!
I admire your textural overlay, the variation in shading for different areas of land and the font type that you've used to mark points of interest (e.g that ominous Impact seems like a significant part of your story) or towns/cities/areas.
May I ask what you used to create this? I'm going to be illustrating a map for a group game project and I was thinking of pencilling out the map and then proceeding to colour it in GIMP.

Photoshop man. I plotted out the basic shape of the island itself by squirting ketchup into a napkin, smushing the napkin together, and then spreading the napkin back out. Its a quick and fast way to get an idea for large geographical masses (i had areas where there was a lot of ketchup still globbed together to determine mountain ranges, and white space of the napkin to be bodies of water.) Once i had done that, i brought it into photoshop and painted over it.
