I guess several aspects are off with this picture (so spare yourself reminding me), but I didn't care and I felt the urge to put it to display. Take it or leave it.

There's some history to how this character came to be. The drawing's actually a by-product of an unfinished story I once wrote. The story took off as an adventure in a parallel dimension, on a lush planet equivalent to ours, inhabited by beings called Felytes (sort of cat-people). Phase two was coming up with a logical hierarchy of gods, their offspring and the aspects they covered. As I tried to cover most of the cosmic aspects (creating gods and their responsibilities) at some point I found myself mentally giving birth to Shurla, goddess of Lust. With a grin I decided my main protagonist would be her child, or created champion, called Subylle Num' Vaden (which means "white as snow"... witches and poisoned apples excluded). After she'd been brought to existence she would of course be forced to get a hold of herself and find her way around the Felytes' planet, while dealing with beings trying to obuse her and/or steal her powers. And so, a very variable adventure begins. Then I got a writers' block. Didn't like the story anymore. Needed more time.

Some time ago I've begun rewriting the story about her genesis. The actual character won't be born, she'll be created by accident. She'll be introduced as a human, Scandinavian archeologist called Jill Levinsson. Scandinavian people are lengthy and their women are often quite beautiful, a good base for Subylle's looks. She'll gain all kinds of powers, but because Shurla is shizophrenic and therefore partially cruel she curses Jill with unignorable beauty and extraordinary nubility. Jill's a little kinky therefore the body piercings she wore as a human remain.

The most difficult part of writing a story about a notoriously busty, athletic, topless, nipple/navel-pierced catbabe is keeping it all readable while minimizing decadence. Write about a busty girl and you'll be labeled a pervert trying to imitate porn. I despise cultural mind-programming. If we can read sad shit about people missing something like a leg, reason to live or common sense, why couldn't we be able to read about people having something extra, like a tail, enhanced speed or a (sight- and) movement-impairing bust? There you have it: it's impairing and causes all kinds of (unwanted) attention, so it's actually a handicap, a motive for character development many like to read about.

What could go through a girl's mind when she's transformed into whatever some twisted, primal Goddess wants her to be? What will she do, trapped in a body she's alienated by? How will she deal with the natives, the territorial, sex- and war-hungry Felytes? Will she ever be able to get back to her old self? ...And most importantly: how will I fare trying to imagine all this!

...

PS: Don't bother putting any comments here. Out of neurotic perfectionism (without success) I'll update this graphic a lot (as I've done several times before). Seems something's not functioning within the uploading system when editing a submission, so I have to delete (comments included, can't help it) and post everything again and again...

ok hello

look you're not bad, so I offered to scout you. Just try to lay off the whole "sex-craved" cat-people thing- it's corny as shit and hiding behind "artistic freedom" won't save you from an editor's scowl.
