This is a sculpture done in super sculpey and colored with airbrush. I used a glue gun for the drooling and spray varnish to make it a little bit "wet". It was my first time using sculpey and I played a lot with textures with this little monster called jim :)
Hope you like it. Tell me what you think! :)

this sculpture looks like some mutated out-of-date meat. yet is also looks like some awesome alien specie!
keep it up!
This is about as kickass as any sculpture can get.
The use of glue to make 'drool' is a fantastic and brilliant Idea. I like Jim a lot :D
You made that?! Wow, oh my! It's really nice though, but not a beauty. But it looks well done, and realistic in some ways, and very grotesque and ailen-ish.
But it's nicely done, as well as the photos. But this really makes you wonder what this means... :P
Author's Response:
lol thanks for the comment!
Sick in every way possible......yet very beautiful and discreet. You must be familiar with McFarlins work (creator of "Spawn). But, anyway, sick sexy job. Hope you keep up the good work. This would be a great piece for my desk, so when my sergeant walks by he can say " I aint giving you no rifle" LOL. Srry....im ranting....
this thing looks so demented, it's very disturbing but beautifully crafted. it's very detailed, i bet you put a ridiculous amount of work into making it look so real.
you abviously know about mcfarlins work, very nice
Author's Response:
I didn't, but now I know!
I would love to have such a sculpture on my desk :D how long did it take you to create such a nasty fellow?
Author's Response:
I would say about a good 30 hours of work from building the armature to the end
awesome, yeh the drooling effect with the glue gun was a nice idea!
are you sure it should be called jim? it's got boobs...i think
Author's Response:
men can have boobs
FUCKING NASTY! but fantastic detail
Author's Response:
thanks
The concept alone is extraoridaniry let alone the actual design...while my turkey sandwhich is no long apatizeing at the moment....I'll get over it...reminds me of something out of dead space to be honest...thats why i gave it a 9...the shock factor wasn't there, BUT creative and appealing none the less...props...make more...I want one!
Author's Response:
Hey thanks for giving me your opinion! I really try making something out of this world next time :)
That's probably the first thing that really made me go "WTF!" IMMEDIATELY after I saw part of it. What the hell is that thing anyway?
Author's Response:
Cool! thanks! He is an alien from the far regions space that mutated when he entered Earth's atmosphere :)

Author's Response:

Amazing it is.
Author's Response:

very cool and gross and it looks like a slightly bigger version of a yeerk i think from animophs. any way pretty cool :D. and wat is it's name?
Author's Response:
Jim is his name :)
Very creepy and very well articulated.
Have you tried Zbrush?
Author's Response:
nope but I really want to :)
is that a real sculpture? if so u should think about working for the Dead space team they would like your kind of style that or Resident Evil
Author's Response:
yup it's a real sculpture :) thanks!
The level of detail on this monster is amazing. It looks like something you would see as concept art for a big budget movie or video game. I like how it doesn't have legs. It makes it scarier because I can just imagine it crawling over to me like a slug with a big acidic slime trail. Also it looks female to me but I guess its all in the eye of the beholder. If I ever do go into the movie or video game business I'll definitely remember this figure.
Author's Response:
Hey thanks!
thats artistic talent right there :D it even has TITS!!!!
Author's Response:
=P
it reminds me somewhat of that monster in the well of zelda ocarina of time when link was a kid just gorier.....sweet
this is like a crossover between silent hill and dead space. its a really cool work of art. i wish i could make stuff like that XD
its freaky and scary, but its so fucking cool!!!
how do you make stuff like this?!?!?!?!? its awsome!!!
this would be great in a horror videogame oneday...i'd love to see that.
Author's Response:
thanks! Look up for some sculpey tutorial if you're interested to know how this kind of sculpture is done.
This sculpture has an interesting and peculiar fell to it. So as all professionals on NG do I will compare it to a video-game: Silent Hill 2 and Homecoming. Mixed with Sci-Fi horror films. lol Nice Work.
Author's Response:
:)
Good lord! This is incredible!
Reminds me of sixth grade when I used the same material to make one of those Yeerks from the book series that I cannot recall at this time.
Either way, you've done an amazing job throwing some extremely dark details into this piece. I'd hate to meet this creature anywhere other than in this photograph.
Author's Response:
:) thanks for the comment!
I love your sculpture of the lovechild of Alien, Earthworm Jim, and Queen Elizabeth. Seriously though it's a kick ass freaky thingy :S
Author's Response:
lol thanks!
This thing reminds me of that creepy shit in the sewers of Kakariko Vilage in Ocarina of Time hahaha, Good work man!
Author's Response:
:) Thanks!
Not bad for a monster thing. Reminds me of some alien movie I watched when I was like 3 years old. Ehm, good work, I guess. Legs would be nice.
Author's Response:
Thanks for the comment! For sure my next one will have legs!
What is that made out of? and whats your influence if anything
Author's Response:
its made out of super sculpey which is a kind of polymer clay. I guess my influence is a mix of a lot of creatures I've seen from video games to movies especially all the deformed creatures from dead space, they were pretty inspiring. Thanks for the review!
whats the word for this ...
Author's Response:
lol I don't know :) Thanks for the comment!
uhmmm terrifying? and beautiful at the same time . . .how does that work ?
Author's Response:
:)
I just love it.
I never really was into sculptures (mostly because often they are cheap). So this is kind of like a revelation to me. Gonna be more open minded about this in the future.
Author's Response:
:) Thanks
Love it! about how long did it take you to do this? and the idea to make drool with a glue gun was brilliant.
Author's Response:
I would say it took about 15 to 20 hours of work. It was my first time so it was pretty slow :) Thanks for the comment!
I'm torn over what I think it might be.
On the one hand, it looks like something that EA designed and tested before deciding that it was too scary and monstrous to be utilized in Dead Space.
On the other hand, it looks like some kind of Cthulhoid horror that springs forth from the subconscious Id before driving sane men into the mouth of madness and devouring the bodies of a thousand screaming people.
Or it could be a concept that John Carpenter briefly thought of using in The Thing before scrapping it in favor of something less budget-intensive.
It is, in a word, awesome. Who knows? With work and concepts such as this, you could wind up as the next H. R. Giger.
Author's Response:
Thanks! The dead space monsters inspired me a lot for this one. I really appreciate your review.
how was the spittle done?
Author's Response:
oh I guess I should mention it in the description :) It's 14 inches high and the drooling effect was simply made with a glue gun. I manage the attach the drooling from the upper jaw to the bottom one on my first try and I was never able to do it again lol. Thanks for the comment! :)
I think the only reason why this hasn't gotten straight fives is the WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT!!!! factor that it must be inspiring in people. Once you look at it, details, and fucking awesome design... dude. Your work is awesometastic art.
Author's Response:
3 minutes ago there were more votes than views lol. Anyway thanks a lot, I appreciate it :)
Two Words,
Sillent Hill.
Author's Response:
yeah I guess it have a silent hill feel to it... I'll take that as a compliment! :) Thanks!
Reminds me of centaurs from fallout 3 anyways amazing job!
Author's Response:
I just looked the centaurs up and your right, it does look a bit like them with the teeth on their bodies and stuff. Thanks for the comment! :)
Thats so weird man, Nice job
Author's Response:
Thanks! :)
