This is my WIP for Jazza's August 2016 Challenge of the Month.

I chose Queen Sheherazade because the story of how she came to tell her tales inspired me the most while I was researching storytellers throughout history. The characters are (from left to right) Alladin, Genie, Sheherazade herself, Ali-Baba and Sinbad. I took their designs from the a few paintings I found while googling each of their names, except for Genie. For Genie I attempted to make his face slightly more realistic than the Disney version. I must admit, I am totally not looking forward to rendering all that cloth.
