Too lazy; I'll copy the description from my dA submission:
Oh, and download brings you the scaled version of the fullsized picture, wich is still friggin' big. (!3000 x 1643!)
(For you who don't know what this is, it's the Doctor Who's Sonic Screwdriver.
I feel skilled and proud. Not because this would be so great work, no, but because I decided: I made TARDIS, why not to try making the famous screwdriver?
And so I tried. And then I worked. And now, what do you see? =)
Blender. This didn't take so long (What does?), maybe two days (Not 48 hours! Got the idea yesterday). Rendering & other tweaking (wireframe, other views) maybe an hour?
Then GIMP; joining the images, text (X4) and "MRX_II" (X4, sorry, I am paranoid)
I will make a wallpaper version, if you want to, throw me few ideas! =)
*EDIT*Yeah, edited. So, I forgot to say that I used this image as a reference, and would like to thank that person who took the picture of it. (Fixed some distortion)
I am going to edit this text, am I not? I'll say now that a animation (Just spinning) will come sometime.
