I tried to draw Jackal Queenston in my own style. This is just a preview of it. I think I need to do practice more.

One thing you can do is to work on proportions one way you can do this is by making two horizontal tick marks. They will tell you how tall you can make your drawing. When drawing from a reference it is important you look at the reference and decide how big you want it. Once you do that draw one tick at the bottom and one at the top do the ticks lightly in pencil to so you can easily erase them. Then work on the drawing and don't let it go beyond those two tick marks.

3)That is my own choice to make isn't your choice to make my choices in life. I'm only saying this. Anyway, appreciate your opinion but again it's my choice.
Here's something that i think would help you improve. Start off by drawing a base for your character (circle for the head, cilinder for the torso and some sausage-shaped limbs) then you should start adding the details to your character.
