I submitted this earlier but I didn't like the way it looked so I edited it a little bit now it looks more like the real piece.
Full Title: You're nothing but a monster in disguise
When I painted this I was going through a rough time, not mention I remember being called a monster for what I had done. So yeah it came out looking like this, and so far is my favorite piece that I have made, besides my Sketchbook tour painting.

The implementation could be a little better. For example, some shadowing.

Great picture
So what happened exactly? I think we would all like to know.

Good and dark
When I came across the title, I thought it would be about a specific fictional character. I suppose it was not, but I did not recognize it. It is supposed to be you and I love how you put a really deep spin onto your picture. I have no idea what you did in real life for people to call you a monster but hopefully you have been able to reconcile yourself. It is fantastic that you got out your emotions on a canvas. It's fantastically creepy to watch those purple tentacles come out of your body.
I mean, this is something that you could apply to anyone who had done some terrible thing in their life. The (human) face in this looks worried and ashamed. She knows she can not hold this monster inside that she has created. The breast appears to be bare, perhaps to put in more shame. I remember this thing on the Scifi Channel that said the only thing scarier than the monsters around us are the monsters inside of us.
