The People Have Spoken
Average Score: 9.6 / 10
This is incredible work! Your attention to detail is meticulous. It kind of scares me to think of all that cross-hatching. o.o;;; I also love the slight splash of muted colors. Overall excellence. Bravo. =]
I love how everything is so detailed I noticed that there is a stickman on her computer saying, "LOL" xD
So few artists possess the ability to truly capture the moment. It looks like you made the best of overdue assignments and a mirror. I would definitely consider purchasing a print.
omg you have a checkers board under the chair! i wanna play! great drawing by the way, hope your room isn't that cluttered in real life...

Checkers is the best, Thanks for the review
You know what I love about this drawing? There's not a single straight line. Everything bends just a little, and it makes it unique and beautiful. Good job! Ten outta ten.
Author's Response:
Thankyou!
Yet pretty. You didn't idealize yourself, thus showing that you have great self esteem as both a person and an artist. A well done piece.
Author's Response:
haha I wish, Thankyou!
Nice, you look great
Author's Response:
ha ha thanks!
i love the attention to detal. the way you drew your hair is great.

I'm glad you like it :)
I think this is a billion times better than the unobtainable perfection usually showcased in the art around here. This is perfect in it's realism. Great piece, and you are a beautiful person.
Author's Response:
Interesting thought!, Thankyou
Realistic drawings i like the most

Realism rules
I love the idea. Being realistic and not making anything prettier or uglier than it actually is.

Thankyou for your review!
its a good picture i like how you use color to draw attention to the middle even though the entire thing is especially detailed
Author's Response:
Haha! thanks for ther review :)
Especially all those little details, the 'test monday' post-it and the electricity socket with 3 plugs. That kind of things. Also the slightly deformed perspective intentional or not, it really adds to the mood of the picture.
One thing I could suggest, for the composition. Add some thing(s) in the foreground. I think it could increase the feeling of a small, messy room.
Author's Response:
Thanks for your idea!
why so sad?
Author's Response:
Happy!
she should go out and make friends xD
just kidding.
awesome drawing, i like the way the person in the middle differs from the background
Author's Response:
haha she should make friends!
Homework and mess. Tidy up instead of drawing lol.
Author's Response:
Homework will ruin your room
If i saw this in a store i would buy it. The thing i like most about it is the girl. She has very striking features but at the same time she wasnt drawn to be the girl of everyones dreams. shes a bit pudgy but it suits her. You can tell right away how cluttered her room is but what i notice and love the most of the mess was the wall plugs. The picture almost looks at if the artist was drawing themself in the picture. Overall this is a great piece of work.
Author's Response:
Glad you like it!
Very impressive work. Very calm, but a little sad/lonly too.
I like the mess in her room, kind a like mine ;P, it makes her life look complicated and busy.
My friends would say she is ugly because she's fat, but I deffinetly don't think so. You've made her very beautiful in a special way, unusual way. It's nothing I've seen before.
Very nice work. :D
Author's Response:
Thankyou! I'm glad you enjoyed it
To be perfectly honest, I'm not sure why I like it so much. I think it's the use of colour... and the absence of colour. The woman is particularly beautiful in a more natural way than often conveyed in artwork. The use of perspective and avoidance of straight lines really adds to the piece. I assume it was drawn from a reflection, hence the expression on the woman and the left-handedness. Which would also explain the lens distortion. If it was the case, then the conversion of all the objects back to their non-reflective form was well done, like the lap-top, phone and all the letters.
If it wasn't drawn from a reflection then... none of that matters! And the world needs more left-handed people. Thumbs up.

I had no idea people would like this, I'm glad you do
