The Tink-Tink-Man is a creation of a friend, adapted by another friend who then approached me to draw and design the visuals.
He taps his knife against drain pipes at night and does creepy stuff and just general evil things. I think the story is still being worked out behind the guy, the original idea was just something a friend told his kids to scare them.
It worked.
love the shadowing....how was this created?

I started with a simple sketch in Paint Tool Sai, which I then painted over with the brush tool, just playing around with the shadows, not really trying to focus on the details, just roughing everything in pretty much.
After this, I plonked it into photoshop to apply textures and the rougher paint smears you see around the neck/chest area with layer settings and the likes.
