Reminds me of those photos of angler fish, with the pitch black background, lone light source and large gaping maw! Very scary.

Does it look angry? No, but emotion is very difficult on robots, especially if they don't have a body to express it with. The choice of hat is interesting, so would love to know more about the character.

Shading could be improved, however, the highlights and shadows have very soft and muted edges; this type of diffuse lighting is what you'd expect from something like clay than steel or battered iron. Also the highlighting abruptly stops at the shoulder, even though we can see the neckline clearly. If the edges of shoulders were shown, the lighting from the pic would feel more natural.
