when I make guns I use 2 makes them with legos insteed of making them in drawingd but that's still sort of nice
Hey that gun is very nice. What are you going to do whit this gun ? :P:D
You probably think this is an ak47,but it's not. It's an ak74u. Basically a more compact version of the Kalashnikov series.
Anyways for your first 3d model this very good :)
Carry on...
its a good model but unless you making it cartoony make the barrel little longer and the wooden part where you grip(dont know the term) make it longer and make it thinner nice job tho
Author's Response:
everything in this model is the same as in the original so why should i make anything longer? thx 4 your comment
theres seems a lacking in the details ya know? as in some parts are just to smooth but other wise not bad, great choice of gun by the way AKz rule
Nicely done, its still in the making so i cant give it a 10 but its coming along very nicely.
Best of luck on it.
Also you mentioned your animations...does this mean another intruder?
WITH 3D!!! *pans in and out*
Cuz that'd be cool.
Multi/sub-object materials, smoothing groups, bump maps, and lighting all on your first model?
Wow, took it a hell of a lot further than I did for my first model.
What's the poly/tri count on that?Think you could post some wires too?
Looks pretty good to me from what's here though. Keep it up
Author's Response:
yup, first model done totally in Max. Of course i've been messing with materials eariler.
I am aware that this is a work in progress, but I still love the textures thatr you used for the wooden part and the metal part of the gun. Also love how the barrel is made.
Author's Response:
Thx, the wood is from cgtextures.com and the metal texture was made in max, i've just added some noise to the material and streched it.
nice 3d art,
nothing bad here
