Hi!
This is an entry for Christmas challenge of the month created by Jazza (thx Jazza for this one). It's my first time participating in one of his challenges, I had a really great time doing this! But I might have been a little bit too ambitious with my idea ( and stubborn :P) but I thought why not! I learned a lot doing this for example my organizational skills improved - you don't want to know how many layers I had!
It's a digital painting made in photoshop. Out of many christmas villains I decided to choose Kazran Sardick (played by Michael Gambon) from Doctor Who christmas special "A Christmas Carol", first of all because I love Doctor Who and second I don't actually know that many christmas villains and he was a great one!. I was trying to convey the magical/fairytale feeling of this episode, where fishes swim/fly in the mists.I was also trying not to go for a smooth and "perfect" digital look, but rather an old oil painting, hope I've done it. Since I'm a beginner, I started drawing, painting and using my computer to do that a little over year ago and I'm trying to learn by myself I would greatly appreciated any feedback, cos my mom saying "that's nice" isn't very constructive since she as a mom isn't very trustworthy in the department of non-bias opinions :P I was painting this, on and of, for last two weeks but I think It took me more than 48 h so I put a lot of work into it (and I'm a slow painter to - I think).
