Never played Crypt of the NecroDancer so this is my clueless art.
About necromancers, I played only one game that that has a necromancer and that is Diablo 2.
Diablo 2 was a big part of my life I played it a lot when I was a little, young and naive kid.
If you play Diablo 2 now it sucks balls, the graphics are shit, controls can be better and let's not talk about the story. So about the necromancer in Diablo 2 he wasn't my favorite character, but the Sorceress, she was so badass... I mean she has teleportation it was quite easy to pass dungeons with her and she wasn't half bad at PvP (depends). The necromancer was able to summon skeletons... so yeah that was "cool". However Diablo 2 sucks but this game probably doesn't.
Note:
I played the game now and it's not bad at all. It has it's charm.

Girls these days, they'll do everything to look beautiful even if they feel uncomfortable.
