He was born in a coop, raised in a cage. children fear him, critics rage.
He's half alive, he's half dead. folks just call him Buckethead!

Had to create a tribute drawing to my favorite musician... and for those of you who aren't familiar with him, I suggest taking an entire day to listen to this guys music. Truly amazing!

I was looking at your other art and saw Buckethead! I was just listening to him too haha:) Such an incredible artist, and YOUR art of him is awesome! I love the way you shaded his guitar & clothes :D very good job!

Hey thanks! Always nice to see other Buckethead fans. He's my all time favorite musician and without him, I would not be the same lol

This piece should have more recognition just like Buckethead. Overall, this is awesome. Have you ever thought about showing this online to him? I think it would be really cool. Great job, and keep it up.

MintyFreshThoughts responds:

Thanks! I would love to show Buckethead, however that's impossible. The closest contact I have is his old buddy Maximum Bob. Maybe I'll show him and tell him to pass it on lol...

Sometimes the music, as great as it is, doesn't do the artist enough justice.
My first experience with this entity was at a Primus show. He was the opener and I had never heard of him. After his set, I immediately went to the merch stand and got the CD. Fantastic live performance.
And Colma is one of my favorite albums.

MintyFreshThoughts responds:

Amazing! I love Primus as well, but unfortunately I never got to see them or Buckethead live. It's on my "bucketlist" though...pun intended
