I whipped up this as my sample image for the Halloween 09 art contest in where you had to illustrate a scene from a certain persons real life encounter. I did this in about 3 hours and used some real textures to speed up the process Such as real confederate flag, real scales and tuna gills on the alien.

Anyway nice picture of a naked patriot saving the world in his holy mission.
The scene is so dynamic, really a great pic !
That's what I imagined the guy would say as he prepares to (or continues the act of) shanking the shit out of that unfortunate fish-monster.
I always loved your character designs especially when they're in motion because of the amount of energy and action is with each of your characters' movements. They're always big and exaggerated in an awesome sort of way. (Though the red-neck guy isn't technically in motion but I think you'll understand what I said about the matter.)
It's astounding that you were able to create something this vibrant, action packed, and exhilarating in three hours. Brilliant work as always. :)
At first i thought this was mario killing a turtle lol.
Anyway, this is awesome, your animations are awesome, and youre awesome. Especially becuase in a short amount of time, youve created such an immensely action packed piece of art. Keep it up man, id love to see more stuff like this from you :D

i love the portrayal of the southern american. but ya love it. i feel that this accurately shows how some people in this country are close minded and afraid of whats different and strange.......maybe im reading a little to far into it XD but w/e its great

Because honestly the look on the creatures face could be from from the stabbing, or the second option.
I gues this really leaves alot up to the viewer heh.

i really dig your style this is rad as fuck!
I really like this. You've always done well w/ colors and lighting. The shiny scales and highlighting on the hillbilly's muscles and on the purple eye socket are a lot of fun to look at. Great action pose and perspective and very nice use of blue. I especially like the thin drip lines of orange blood on the swamp creature's (or damn two legged two armed fish / man type entity being) forehead and the blue on hill William's fingers. I probably know someone related to this guy...

So - this real life encounter for this person. A confederate man meets a swamp monster alien? And then Ass-Rapes him with knife? Must taste like chicken.
It's a new twist to the slasher/monster genre - where the real victim is the monster and the antagonist is the drunken hill-billy.
It's horrifying but funny - cause the roles of calamity seem to switch.
But I can see his penis - should it really have an "E" rating? I'm sure that was just an oversight when submitting. :D

Really great Intense image, awesomly gross how the fishs eye is missing and purple flesh is showing in his eye-socket. I love the idea of Hill-Billys and Aliens! They always have their alien stories!
