The main eskimo model that was made for a Club A Seal 2 game.

will it ever come out? prob not.

PS I did this in blender, and I hated every minute of it. Im too used to 3D max. Blender3D is definitely amazing, especially since it is free., but Im too locked into oldschool max

Ready for action!

Well again, this clubbing seal game may never come out, but I am certainly glad we got something as good as this picture from it! I think its strongest points are how you get to see nearly every step that went into the process. I have often wondered how CGI stuff gets made in Flash. In one of the models, it looks like the eskimo is missing part of his head or something. It kind of looks crude in its final version, particularly how it appears to be just a pair of eyes. The hair looks too stringy.

This is still a very good picture. Collages are always something that I look forward to in terms of art submissions. It makes you admire the time and effort that was taken into all the shadings. I think there's an eyeball or something in the background. Actually, the background makes it look like it didn't come from a CGI game.

mmhmm

I remember Tom showed us the 3-D game of that and said he was hoping others would follow but they have some sort of problem uploading.
But yeah i would love to one day be a part of group effort modeling for games like that (less glitchy) in the future for NG.

Good base mesh overall, and the textures are distinguishable as well.

it will happen, we will have unity3D available for NG, just a matter of when.

looks really cool.

Are we ever going to see this model in motion? This has a nice painted look that has that good ol' MC feel.

I'm always interested in 3D modeling but the most I ever got into 3D was making my name.

MindChamber responds:

Thanks man,

maybe Ill make a video of it sometime (the game)
