This was originally created for a short live action movie last year, but things just fell apart. I havent loaded up anything in a few months so I decided to dig in my crates and dug this out.

The Model was designed and Created by me, and the Texturing and rigging was done by Osuka.

Nice ray tracing!

MindChamber responds:

you can thank Osuka for that one, hes a pro!

At least it became something

Yep, you are undeniably the #1 guy on the Internet when it comes to robot design. It's not just that you're great at making pictures like this, you're great at making models. It's too bad the movie never got into anything. It did at least accomplish the goal of making a dang good art submission. It makes you realize how we don't just apply art to pictures. It seems like something that belongs in a high class museum.

Hey, maybe someday you'll actually make a working robot. I love how there are so many different poses and sketches, designs, and stuff included for this robot. It seems like you included every shot you could get for him. I would suggest perhaps featuring him in a flash. There's always potential for old ideas to come out as great things. I would know.

Pretty cool!

That's looking pretty nice there!

you'd get an A in my 'taller creativo' class..

that class was focused on getting inspiration from different objects, settings, drawing different views of something each with a diverse concept, then actually finding the three that work the best and then finally creating it.

i've been designing stuff for runways, surface designs and toys. (toys were the most recent) and i got an A. i'm sure as fucking hell you would have been the star of that class. congrats! i'm enjoying it!

MindChamber responds:

congrats on your A man!

Fooled the crap out of me!

I thought for sure you were showing a "concept to finish" play of how you built this...and then it turns out that this is entirely 3D rendered...

OMG, totally impressed. Give Osuka tons of Christmas love for me.
