I drew one of my characters in a role play WOW. Yes, role-playinggame . I hate online games in which you want to pump your character to battle X)
Anyway, I've done this. This is a pretty old work.

Detail and Technique
I really like the way this lady stands out as her hair and skin are obviously, but not harshly, different from her background. This was done in a subtle manner making the blend of colors very smooth. This also makes the image itself somewhat calmig with a bit of mystique.
