Ok so this is a bit of a fun thing I did for myself, I saw two cosplays of two different jokers, a Cicero cosplay and a Harley's Joker cosplay. The take on the two characters were AMAZING! The were so well done and then this idea hit me, what would the love child of those costumes look like? Thus this thing came to be.
It not a painting technically. I had ran out of oil paint but I did have a ton of oil pastels, so I melted the pastels ( I don't recommend trying it , they smell when they melt) and painted with the melted goo in a combination of pallet knife and some of my bigger crap brushes (so if the pastel ruined them I wouldn't care).
Painting with melted pastel was interesting, it was thicker than the paint I tend to use and it bled oil as the colours cooled. Mixing them was a pain in the arse I will tell you that! But it did make for a soft look. I think I will re-due this when I get paint, Im not quite happy with how it turned out.
