Interesting.
It seems like a good theme and all, but I'm personally not a fan of this kind of art. But, I've never tried making any kind like that, so I don't know how long it takes, or how difficult.

I do it in microsoft paint. In my free time really, so it doesn't take much time or work really. But I don't know what that has to do with the piece. Since when does art mean blood sweat and tears.
