I saw that Autodesk was doing another one of their challenges and this months was "Monster Under The Bed" I knew I wanted to take part in it so thus Frillo was born. It was really fun to create this monster while using a software i wasn't normally used to when drawing. Since soft shading in sketchbook isn't very straight forward like it would be in photoshop and clipstudiopaint, I decided to go out of my comfort zone and go with cell shading. While I am not to thrilled with the scale highlights( think i put to many of them their then needed) and I like for the most part how it turned out. Overall I am glad I took part in the challenge and look forward to whats next.
