We live in a world where we don't have to do shit. Other people do shit for us, and we pay for it. However because we don't do the shit ourselves, we don't know if we agree with the way the shit was done that we're paying for. So if you had a strict moral code, it could be very difficult to buy shit and still have a 100% clear conscience. UNLESS YOU'RE THIS GUY. He looks up everything on Wikipedia before he buys it, and has thus achieved enlightenment through his customer awareness. He is truly at one with the universe. And more importantly, at one with all this cool stuff he bought.

To be honest, I expected a squid. I'll make one.
He looks like the kind of person who would purchase a mirror, some costumes and a giant mobile theater/home. Also booze. A lot of booze.
Oh I get it, Dr Parnassus. Yeah the red circle on white is a thing a lot of Sadhus paint on their heads, though that's one of a few different things. I don't actually know what they all mean.

I'd have never made the connection with your story about the shit we buy, but it looks pretty awesome!
