'Even Evil Needs A Break'

Here is my very first entry into the Jazza competition. It's a traditional piece.

We can see Sauron and Voldemort having a game of chess with a wide selection of characters from both Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings.

I thought this would how the evilest of villains can have a fun game together.

If you look at the chess board, it has 3D aspect to it, due to perspectives.

*I know I shaded Gollum in too dark. Should of used a more pink-ish colour with a tint of brown.
*Also, Sauron in the lower left corner blends in too much with the Two statues behind.

Hope you all enjoy this piece, it took a lot of hours to plan, sketch, layout etc.

Whoa same idea!!! Your detail is so good! I love the "peices"! And Voldemort's expression is perfect!

I just did my first entry as a traditional piece too! It was definitely a challenge but I absolutely love this piece and the idea of the chess board. I think all the elements are awesome. Good Show!

Fun idea! There are lots of details which I like to look for, like that "text" around the chess board and Legolas tensing his bow etc. I might have added some color to the background to give it more contrast but I respect your artistic choice, too. Best of luck to the challenge! :)

Thank you very much!
