This is a piece I've been on-and-off-again about for months, ever since MAN's computer casting setup was too laggy to stream Dustforce properly. This combo idea came to me pretty easily, since Super Meat Boy and Dustforce are both beautiful, crazy platformers with awesome music. The bloody mess Meat Boy leaves also worked nicely with the "cleaning" mechanic from Dustforce.

I had both Meat Boy and most of MAN the Janitor (MANitor!) drawn before I scrapped my original style and tried out the "borderless" drawing style to match Dustforce's visuals. I really like it, although I probably won't make it my default - I like the room for error that borders gives you. The plus side was that it was really fast - you just do a general outline, then fill - no intricate line details taking up time. I'll have to consider it some more. Drawing the background was actually kind of fun for this one. I tried to nail the harsh architecture of Dr. Fetus' factories with those classic buzzsaws around random equipment. This style was interesting in that coloring was even easier (outline, fill), but shading was harder (no black outlines to keep your shadows in the right place).

Here's hoping we get to see some great score runs from MANvsGAME (http://www.twitch.tv/man vsgame), and hear that beautiful soundtrack!
