have you ever quitted doing something and a long time after you forget the why of the quit.
well, I've started modeling organics out of zero again... and now I remember the "WHY" of quitting. MAN!!! what a nightmare it is!!!

How ever, I've seen this unfinished 3D model of Bitey by Adam Phillips and I kind of wanted to make a finished one. Well... here you go. I'll try adding bones and animating or at least giving some more interesting posses to it.

Hope you like it.

Wondering...

2 questions to you @Manuel-Dangelo. First one: "why Biteys eyes are ON the hair?'
Second one: 'why he pose as Brazil Jesus Christ?' I love your art, by the way :)

Manuel-Dangelo responds:

first: because of the Hair & fur effect, if the eyes would be before the hair, you would see hair coming out trough the eyes.
second one: this is a tipical pose for 3D charapters, ones it's done you have to put bones on them to animate and give poses.

its biety! the little bigfoot!

itsa bitea oh yas

Manuel-Dangelo responds:

so, why you voted 0?

?

I have to say, I don't quite understand why whoever or whatever this is, has sunglasses, with no hair on his torso, but I understand that with computer art, it takes a long time to get the dimensions, the shading, and all the other details into the artwork, so for the ability to stick with the art form approximately 23 hours, well done, I don't have the attention-span for it.

Manuel-Dangelo responds:

This guy is a very famous character here in newgrounds, you may even see him along side the other stars in a pic at the top of the flash portal. He is the main character of the series "Bitey of brackenwood" (which, by the way, are very good).
Just search "Bitey" at the NG's search bar, or even google it.

very nice!

the actual model is very good! the skin is shaded very well and the hands are very well modeled and as a 3d animator i really understand how hard that is to get right. the only thing that i could suggest is to use a hair shader on the ground to make grass and also to be carful about the size of your base plane and how it connects to the sky. it is pretty obvious that he is not on a continuous background. other than that great job! i will have to try to make a model of bitey as well he looks like a lot of fun.

Manuel-Dangelo responds:

In fact I didn't even try to fit the base with the back ground. when I make serious renders I tend to affect the ground with a "noise" effect plus adding the green "fur" for the grass. the thing is that all that work for a basic model would be a waste.
Ones I have the bones in place I'll start working on poses, lights and adding some foliage to the behavior so it looks like a real 3D scene.

you...

are you trying to out do me by making famous characters of newgrounds in 3D?

THEN I CHALLENGE YOU TO A DUEL
*glove Slap*

Manuel-Dangelo responds:

I take it, sir!
which are your conditions?
