Awsome!

I love it! I'm a biiiig fan of wolves! They are very pretty creatures!! Love it!! Good job! and keep it up!

Great atmosphere

The atmosphere and composition of this piece are spot on in my opinion and i love the colours used and the glow effect on the moon.

My main gripe are the clouds on the left and the trees, they could do with refining a bit but otherwise good work.

Manuel-Dangelo responds:

Thanks you very much. I'm already working on a new piece. but this time I'll put more time on it. Promis.

Very good but not too consistent

This piece definitely jumps out at you, I think that's mainly because of the rays of light coming from the moon (seriously, it feels like it's going "TA DAAA" and that's not a negative comment). But like it was already said the attention to details are kind of inconsistent--it would have been great if you gave those trees and clouds the same amount of details as you did the moon and it's halo... Those trees would look great if done like the wolf's fur. Speaking of the halo, the groups of lines have too many gaps between them, this is especially obvious in the thumbnail view. If you'd spread out the strokes more evenly it would look real impressive.

This critique isn't meant to be negative or like you didn't do enough, mind you. It seems like this was a sort of quick piece, and since you said it was meant to be a serious one it still comes off well. I just think you have it in you to improve it!

Manuel-Dangelo responds:

to be honest, I thought that adding a lot of detail to the environment would distract the spectator out of the main figures of the pic (which of course are the wolf and the moon). but as it seems to be a mistake, I won't let that thought fructify in my mind again.
About the light beams... I seriously liked the brush effect and I wanted it to show somewhere. I've tried to use a massive brush, but it didnâEUTMt work out.

Thanks for such a complete review.

Not bad.

Good, but kind of plain. The moon is especially detailed, as compared to the trees and grass and rock and clouds. The wolf's pose is nice, and the fur texture is alright, but not quite befitting of the overall piece, in my opinion. The coloring is pretty, though. Also, I would have added some stars. Just a few spritzed in the sky.

Manuel-Dangelo responds:

Could be. I'll consider so for my next piece.

Nice work

The wolf looks very dark and freaky but the fore legs look missing. Lawl unless it's a amputee wolf.

Manuel-Dangelo responds:

the fore legs are hiden beatween the back legs and behind the tail.
