Bonnie Lass Summer 2011

Share

Let my account sit idle for a bit again. Here's a Bonnie Lass promo piece from a month or two ago!
At the end of vol.1, Bonnie and crew find themselves in a tropic locale, so I wanted to play with that and see what might happen if they were to trek into the nearest coastal town.

I found this picture to be good. I admit I don't know if it's a reference to something. It kind of reminds me of "One Piece". I guess it's just because of the logo. I think you may have used just a bit too much dark in this. The parrot's probably what makes me think of pirates.

That or the eye patch. I like how they all different sizes and designs. It shows great contrast. Yeah, it's definitely pirate themed. I don't even know what I was thinking when I thought it wasn't.

Lovely. Must check the comic.

The big guy is projecting some "John Goodman"ess... :-)

wow!

this looks like a professional comic! is it? haha idk

Amazing

Man, your work is great, I cannot believe how I love this image, I don't know much obut the comic, I don't even really like pirate related things (I did some google :D), but seeing this pictures makes me imagine things at an uncouncious mind level, its like there's a lot of life behind the image itself and when someone makes you feel that... its just because the artist is a master.

nice

the woman resembles a little bit like Michiko from the show Michiko To Hatchin

Interesting. Hadn't heard of it before, but I just skimmed the wikipedia page for it. I'll have to try and give it a shot.
