Adorable concept, Mae. I can see you took a minimalistic approach with the art style, but it's still a touchingly simple representation of love.
The moon and the row of clouds shrouding it are perhaps the best pieces of the art: the changes in tone for the shadows and everything looks great in pixel form. I like your choice of colour for the night clouds.
I would suggest having more going on in the foreground. The scene looks as if the pair in love are on stage: perhaps some reflection beneath the figures to make it seem they are on a surface?
In terms of the .gif you linked: the animation is alright and the jumping is cute, but there could probably be more movement for the figures themselves (e.g. parts of the hair waving about, and since it's pixels and your characters are simple, it wouldn't require much.)
Still, it's all very well done and you are a talented pixel artist. Keep it up, and take care.
