The simplicity is great. The image has lines, making the image appear flat. But, the lines add a 3-D effect (the curving). There is an expression, also the body is at an angle, with the ligaments in possitions of movment.
*For these I'd give it a 7.
But! There is one thing that brings it above much other art submitted. This isn't a drawing of Louie on 'roids (like so many other images of all characters). This is very accurate because Louie looks average.
I like the intergration of your own style into the drawing. It is your interpretation of what Louie looks like.
I give this "Plain Photoshop Drawing" a 9.5 (10). Keep up the awesome work!
