Well, it's official. If I had any remaining scraps of masculinity, they're now gone, as I've just made an adorable drawing entirely out of shades of pink.
I feel pretty pleased with this drawing. Comments are awesome!

I just don't know what to say

It's like when everyone threw away their old televisions when they came in color.
I mean, you shouldn't throw away your old art, but it looks like a completely new style!
Ironically, you stopped using the signature Lux and started using the initials TV when you started drawing in bright colors.

I love every part of this. It just feels so shy and simple.

I've been holding on to a similar drawing idea. It's more practice to me.
I just stereotype a character in my head, and name him/her for their traits or personality in an adjective.

For example:
"Tricks"- the skateboarder. "Scratch" the vampire [named for her long nails]. "Sleeves" [She's a liar and a cheater]. And "Skitz" [Just an everyday schizophrenic].

Luxembourg responds:

I'm terribly sorry this response is so late.
Well, I figured signing things with "TV" seems more fitting, as my art really belongs to me and not to some internet user. My name's Trae Vega, not Luxembourg.
Yeah, the fact that this looks so different is because I've been aiming for a new look. I'm kind of sick of the dark. I'm glad you like the new aesthetic!
This drawing was really far more an effort to nail down an look and a feeling than an actual character design- to me, this girl is more the embodiment of a kind of emotion (simplicity, femininity, simple happiness) than an actual character. I hope your exercise in character design works, though. It does sound like decent practice for characterization.
Anyways, thank you for the comment. I'm glad you like it!

Great use of colors

That's some pretty lovely blending right there. The mood of this drawing is just serene and wonderful. It made me smile. I really adore your unique style. The way you draw is somewhat mysterious. I don't know any words to describe it lol. The only small flaw I see is focused on the head, the eyes have a rather strange angle. Overall it's a very delightful drawing.

Luxembourg responds:

I'm not sure how to describe it, either. I don't mind that! At least people don't compare it to Burton anymore.
If I can make people smile with my artwork, then that means I'm succeeding.
There are lots of flaws besides the eyes' angle (which I don't think is that off, considering the angle of her head), but I suppose it's a good thing if I'm the only one who notices them. Thanks for the comments, Fifty, and I'm quite glad you enjoy it.

Sweet and fragile.

I like the colour scheme in this picture, and that's a lot considering I don't like pink. It's soft and not clashing at all, and it compliments the skin well. I keep thinking that maybe the jaw should be "softer" as well, but it still works regardless.

Luxembourg responds:

I'm not entirely sure what you mean about the jaw specifically, but there are a few places where I think I could have made it a little softer or more muted. I'm glad I did a good job with the color scheme, considering that I've been trying to broaden my abilities with colors lately and using all pink was mostly a challenge to myself.
Thanks for the review, Jin, and yet again, welcome to Newgrounds. I appreciate it!

realy nice and simplistic

:)

Luxembourg responds:
