"The shadows were the first friends I had had in years. They frightened me, at first, but as I grew more accustomed to the hauntings, I befriended them. They weren't malicious; they were lonely, just like me. I grew to love them dearly and I began to think of the shadows as my family. Now, I embrace them and they hug my soul, taking a firm grasp. When they take me, the wind stirs and wisps of light which act as their smiles appear, and I feel a supreme euphoria. Like this, we become one."

The Character of the Week recently started back up in the Art Forum, and I can already see that I'm going to enjoy it. This was my submission for it. The theme was "possession", and I decided to do a more positive kind of possession, in which the "victim" willingly takes in the ghosts because she loves them; I don't see ghosts as necessarily evil thing. I felt pretty pleased with how her left (our right) hand came out. Yes, I know that the eyes are purple. That's intentional. Her soul is being taken by shadows, and the eyes are often seen as a conduit of the soul.

why does this remind me of soul eater?

Soul Eater? No idea.She doesn't have a weapon, like a technician would. Her dress isn't like that of a student. Maybe she reminds you a little of witches or the wisps make you think of the souls? Unless you're talking about a different soul eater than the manga and I'm just being a geek, I don't really know.

You are definitley improving!
Hands look great, proportions are improved.
The only thing I see wrong is that her dress and her hair are blowing in opposite directions, or that she has too much hairgel. The shoulders are a little uneven as well.
Good concept, but will the ghosts call the morning after?

Curses! While I was writing the little story-thingy to go with the picture, I was hoping it wouldn't be taken sexually. It sounds sexual, but it's possession! They take your soul; I couldn't think of a way to write about someone who enjoys possession without it sounding a little sexual.
Yes. The ghosts will call back.
I've been trying to do better with anatomy and proportions, but there are some little things like her shoulders and her left wrist, which is too thin.
And as for the dress, I have no excuse. That was a massive mistake in the composition that I didn't even really think about until it was almost finished and too late to fix it.
