City of Masks- 3

Share

Page 3 of my comic. The other two are in my gallery; the second was only submitted yesterday. I think I'm starting to get better with this, and I think it's pretty fun. The handwriting is more legible in this page.
I'm gonna keep making these.

Luxembourg responds:

Poor? Not quite. You'll see, the city is actually very lavish. It'll all be made clear in the near future.
I have no interest in making a flash out of this; I quite like comics and animating is extremely difficult.
But I'm glad you like it anyways. Thanks for the review.
(Sorry for the late-ish response. I was out of town for the weekend.)

Nice design.

I really like the details you're putting into these, such as the effects on the speech bubbles, and how you keep incorporating panels into the clouds.

Plus a mask, umbrella, and pocket watch is a winning combination in my book.

Luxembourg responds:

Hey.
I think that the little details are a great way to exercise the style and mood of this, and I think they really add to it. Part of the reason I didn't continue off the first page was that I hated working in a panel format, so now I'm kind of avoiding a normal panel format and going off in my own directions with how it's laid out. Dresden Codak inspired that. I also didn't have any idea what I wanted to do with the plot, but that's still pretty shaky.
Thanks for the review, Heavy. I appreciate it, and I'm glad you like it.
