I really like the idea, but the shading does seem a little flat..
good use of the thumbnail though,
taking into consideration you didn't have time to finish, I think its a good overall entry :)

Little late..... Aaaaah! I actually couldn't finish all. I had some more things sketched for the background and some shiny medals for my general, but maybe I update the file later.

Nice concept, great use of the icon! The background is kind of dull, but the elements you put in are interesting. Cool perspective and great linework. Could use some highlights and a bit more shading though. Good work!
