NG VaultBoy: Level 2

Share

A series of 60 VaultBoy drawings that match the NG Level system.
I've been keeping a thread of these, but I figured I'd upload the full size versions to the Art Portal.

NG Vaultboy level 2 is another in a series of the NewGrounds level system. The icon looks good and the colors work well. However, they is too much wasted space in the background.

Another nice picture!

I am glad that I am now a lot more familiar with this series. I know just what to expect. I can't really say anything bad about this, because this is pretty much exactly what an art submission for this would look like. You show a great sense of having really bright, vibrant colors. While it's not that detailed, I am still very glad it exists. It reminds me of the all the times I had when I slowly rose up on the ranks to new levels. That lollipop sure looks tasty.

It's really cool how you managed to put some good shading and shadows on this. What really worked was how it was a bit out of place with the shadow. It's presented as being besides the actual color of the website. I would think that level icons would have boxes around them to show what they hold. I'm of course being too nitpicky, this is good.

haha

lets see him eat that lolipop until he discovers he gets rad poisoning

Very awesome!

I got a question though:

IS there a specific way to make that spiral? Or did you just go round and round and round?
Because jesus fucking christ, that spiral is so symmetrical. And with a mouse?!
You're just crazy man ;)

Great job man.

Is this..

your mother?
