The Way Out is Through
16x12 Oil on Canvas
At one point during the long drive from central Texas to northern Colorado, we met with a fog more dense than I had ever seen before. We were in the high northern panhandle of Texas, almost to the border when our vision was suddenly restricted to about five feet in front of us. The roadways were relatively empty, but there was one point where we caught up dangerously close with a truck that had been in front of us. In a brief moment, we caught a glimpse of the sunrise over a large open field. The fog slowly but surely began to let up afterward.
