Well it's been a while since I saw you suck the warm fluffy balls of normality. But I'm not complaining. Got to say, really nice job on well... Everything. It's some real good use of colour and texture. I really like how you blended some of the colours too. Some particularly clever uses of colour on the trees where I can pick out shades of green and brown and also possibly (I may be wrong) yellow on the bark alone. Very nice. It is also great how you painted the sun, it expresses the rays of light radiating off of it quite well. It's actually quite realistic looking, zoom out and it almost looks like a photograph with the contrast modified.

It's a really nice concept, it looks really nice and cute. I couldn't help but think in my head "Rrraaawww... Links gone all soft on us!" and then I noticed it was a commission lmao. Still very cute, it's nice to see something that's this warm and fuzzy for a change. Pieces like this are quite rare from you and always really nice seeing as all your other art is usually morbid, twisted and/or bizzare (But in a really good way). I actually spent a while trying to think of a reason why one finger nail is yellow and all the rest pink. I can't come up with anything, so I have to ask, is it supposed to represent something? Was it an artistic choice you wanted to add? Or whatever else.

So yeah, really nice quality piece of art. Nice to see something cute for a change.

Hehe thanks, I do like to add some variation in my paintings from time to time just to contrast the wide range of subjects I tend to observe.

Also, the nails were actually how the girl I did the painting for paints her nails.

Thanks for this great in-depth review, your reviews are always great to read.

A very cute painting. I really like how you painted the background, though, the lighting and the shadows cast from the trees give it a natural brightness!
