this is my entery for the [Art Contest] Violent Encounte... basicly this tells the story of the alien creature that looks like a fish... its gold and has brighter gold clothes... and of course it gets stabbed in the eye... i might add to this picture but im happy with it at the moment... i know its a big change from my anime girls i normaly draw but hey... im an artist and i can draw what i like :P... so what do you think?...
at the moment theres an issue with ITS right arm been a tad long... but not to much... the hands are fishlike and hopefull the colouring is ok... this took me around 7-8 hours... so... what do you think can be imrpoved?

Serious approach
This is one of the first more serious approaches I have seen for the competition, with serious I mean, no attempt in making any jokes! I think its cinda sad that you cant see the attacker but the fish looks really like the guys description. But whats up with his hand? Thats the only part I really dislike, that fucking hand ;)

well you see... there was no discription of the attacker so i wanted the main focus to be on that fish thingy... also i was pushed for time... yeah my hands are strange.. i put it down to alien hands look strange like that... next time il make sure i draw the hands properly... have a go!... athough i do like the joke enterys... i just wanted to have a proper go at one for once then my atempts that fail horibly... :3, thanks for the review TeRlS :3

good job, but how is the fish bleeding yellow and the blood on the knife is red?
i thought about that as well... i was going to do the tip of the knife yellow but i forgot... thanks for pointing that out!... il make sure thats fixed :3

some serious advice
it is really good, but i see what u mean, the right forearm is a bit longer than it should be. and somethin else, the knife looks a bit awkword for the fish alien to have been just stabbed in the eye, i honestly think it should be going in a diferent direction, but thats just me. great work man
thanks for the informative review... with the knife... the person is holding in downwards.. so stabed him in the eye and brough it back towards him... i think it would be a wise idea if i showed how he was holding it so it doesnt look as alkward... i can see what you mean about it been very straight, i will defently think about extending the picture to include the hand... once again thanks for the crit... :3
